Do you doubt between an Office Manager and an Executive Assistant? These are the differences.
Sometimes we get asked what the difference is between an Office Manager and an Executive Assistant.
The difference is simple.
An Office Manager is responsible for organizational and administrative matters in an organization. He or she is often the link between you, your management and the various departments. In smaller organizations, the Office Manager may also partly support you or your management, in larger organizations the Office Manager often leads several (administrative) functions. An Office Manager mainly works from your offices.

An Executive Assistant (EA) exclusively supports an entrepreneur, CEO or other board member and is also their sparring partner and gatekeeper. An EA manages your mail account and calendar, manages projects and budgets, thinks with you about how you can achieve your goals, and ensures that deadlines are met. In some organizations, he or she manages other management assistants. In addition, an EA sometimes supports you on a personal level.
