Team engagement: the missing piece in implementing procedures
Updating procedures or introducing new processes is a crucial part of my work for clients, and I enjoy it!
โณ I often notice that clients may take some time to implement updated or new procedures, and that’s OK. Whatโs more important, but sometimes forgotten by clients, is engaging colleagues who will use these procedures and considering the impact on their work. New or updated procedures can change job content or time spent significantly, sometimes requiring colleagues to transition to other functions.
Make this negotiable.
๐กDon’t let fear of feedback or pushback hold you back: your team is often ready for change! By understanding their talents, expertise, and interests, you assign your people to the best.
๐งฉ When implementing procedures, build that new puzzle by putting the right people where they matter most.
